Keith Dennis (President)
Keith is a seasoned data-security executive and serial entrepreneur with more that 15 years of management experience in the software industry. Having co-founded and managed three technology start-ups, Keith is well versed in the design, development and marketing of innovative technology solutions. His most recent venture, JadeSail Technology, was acquired by Netopia in 2003. JadeSail’s product – an IP Services provisioning platform - has been licensed by tier-1 data communications service providers worldwide, and is currently owned and marketed by Motorola, Inc.
Keith's entrepreneurial endeavors began at Security Domain, where he developed the concepts and business strategy for a new business unit as VP of Marketing. Keith spun-off, built and managed this business unit, Contego, which integrated Security Domain’s PKI and secure messaging technologies into a service offering that Managed Service Providers could private-label, offering secure remote access services to their corporate customers.
Previous to his entrepreneurial initiatives, Keith championed software product initiatives in the electronic payments industry. Keith began his career in software engineering at IBM before moving into marketing as a member of the Visa International account team which grew the annual account revenue from under $9 million in 1987 to over $95 million in 1991.
Keith has a BS in Management Science from S.U.N.Y. Geneseo, and has completed extensive studies in Computer Science at Stony Brook University and IBM’s Systems Research Institute in NYC.

Kevin Trilli (Founder)
Kevin has over 15 years of operating experience spanning product management, strategy, marketing, engineering and operations. Kevin conceived the original AssertID idea and is co-inventor of AssertID's intellectual property. Kevin led the initial phase of the company and now serves as the non-Executive Director.
Kevin is currently serving as Vice President, Product Management of TRUSTe, an Accel-funded provider of online privacy and reputation services. Prior to joining TRUSTe, Kevin spent 8 years at VeriSign, where he served as Director of Product Management across several lines of business and managed over a dozen products in his tenure. For his first 5 years, Kevin led product management for VeriSign's original flagship Web Site Security (SSL) business. Kevin then spent several years in enterprise and consumer authentication services. Kevin launched several new products from concept into revenue generating businesses, including the patented Shared Hosting Authentication Service.
Kevin has an M.S. Management from Stanford's Graduate School of Business, where he was a Sloan Fellow. Kevin also holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Joon Nak Choi (Chief Scientist)
Joon Nak (JC) is a PhD Candidate in Economic and Organizational Sociology at Stanford University. His research focuses on trust within economic and political social networks, investigated using quantitative and computational techniques. JC has received numerous academic honors, including the Stanford Graduate Fellowship and a honorable mention in the National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship program.
As Chief Scientist, JC is responsible for developing and testing the principles underlying the AssertID system. While previously serving Interim COO, JC spearheaded the build-out of AssertID 2.0, coordinating in-house development and contractor teams.
Prior to Stanford, JC worked as a management consultant at Novantas/Novation Associates and has some experience in the software industry.
JC holds an MA in Sociology from Stanford University, and also hold an AB in Economics, International Relations and Urban Studies from Brown University.
Murali Vivekandan (Architect/Lead Developer)
Murali has fifteen years of industry experience in the design and development of object-oriented, distributed, and internet applications on Windows NT and UNIX platforms. Murali is the CEO of Ideas2IT Incorporated, a boutique outsourced development company focused on early stage companies. In this capacity, Murali serves AssertID as Lead Developer/Architect and manages a virtual team of developers and system administrators.
Prior to AssertID and Ideas2IT, Murali was Lead Architect and Co-Founder of Radaptive, an end-to-end solution for managing complex IT operations. Murali also spent several years as a Lead Architect at Cisco, working on the Cisco.com web site, which served as a repository for 172 different applications accounting for 2 billion of annual sales.
Murali has a BS Physics from Madras University, and a MS Computer Science from Pune University.
Mark Silvern (Corporate Counsel)
Over the past 6 years, Mark has been growing his private law practice, focusing on early and middle stage technology, service, and other entrepreneurial companies. Mark’s practice covers a wide range of areas including commercial, employment, corporate, IP, privacy, and other general matters. Mark’s clients include social networking, gaming, enterprise software, legal service, and various other companies.
Prior to developing his own practice, Mark worked at VeriSign for 7 years. As Senior Corporate Counsel, Mark worked on a wide range of general corporate matters, including managing its privacy practices. In addition, Mark was also responsible for developing, drafting, and implementing the legal and policy infrastructure for VeriSign's global public key infrastructure (PKI), which included working with its international affiliates to gain licensure and/or accreditation by foreign governments. Mark was a contributor to various U.S. and international digital and electronic signature law committees. He also frequently spoke at international forums on legal and policy matters relating to PKI, authentication, and trust deployments.
Mark holds a law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston.
